Because the Gospel of Jesus Christ is the power of God for salvation (Rom. 1:16). Individuals are saved by being reconciled to God and nations are changed by recognizing the rule and reign of Christ.

Because the Lord said, "Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation." (Mark 16:15).

The necessity of the new birth. No one enters the kingdom of God by heritage, morality, or religious effort. Salvation is the sovereign work of God’s grace, bringing sinners from death to life through faith in Jesus Christ (John 3:3).

Those who are saved are called to holiness. The Christian life is one of sanctification — growing in obedience, loving the Church, and being conformed to the image of Christ through His Word and by His Spirit (Romans 8:29).

Jesus Christ is the only Savior of the world. He alone is the way, the truth, and the life (John 14:6). There is no other name under heaven by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). The Gospel is exclusive in truth and universal in invitation.

The blessed hope of the Church — the visible and victorious return of Jesus Christ. The dead will be raised, sin and death will be defeated, and Christ will reign in righteousness. The Gospel does not merely rescue us from judgment; it secures for us an eternal inheritance (Titus 2:13).
